The story of Samson is very interesting to me, and yes, I would agree that his act seems to have sacrificial motives.CatholicMomhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03889676714379171157noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8053434170897179634.post-46518134975712406892013-03-13T04:38:35.052-04:002013-03-13T04:38:35.052-04:00Looking at this at an angle that is not Catholic. ...Looking at this at an angle that is not Catholic. I cannot help but believe that a person who is in his/her right mind would never commit suicide. Since they are obviously ill, would God truly condemn them? I also am inclined to thing that Samsons' death was more one of sacrifice rather than suicide. Just my thoughts.Gramma 2 Manyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16973534029927632805noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8053434170897179634.post-41385564426380616492013-03-04T21:49:50.545-05:002013-03-04T21:49:50.545-05:00No...No...CatholicMomhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03889676714379171157noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8053434170897179634.post-87174868116142635462013-03-04T21:49:04.262-05:002013-03-04T21:49:04.262-05:00Hi Ed, I'm sorry about your friend. That's...Hi Ed, I'm sorry about your friend. That's sad. Do you know that my high school sophomore homecoming date also committed suicide by hanging himself after we graduated from college. It was somebody I didn't know very well (I think he probably had a "crush" on me then, and I wasn't romantically interested, so I kind of blew him off.) I think about him a lot and wondered if I had gotten to know him, what kind of person I would have had the chance to know, and what kind of pain he personally suffered. May God help them!CatholicMomhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03889676714379171157noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8053434170897179634.post-49483243247350460202013-03-04T17:08:27.284-05:002013-03-04T17:08:27.284-05:00Are you defending these acts?

He always depended me in need and I always delivered the best I could until one day he disappeared. His family and I looked for him but his body was found in a barrel in a barn many months later. That troubled me for quite some time until I became Catholic and learned how to better deal with the world's troubles.Ed Winklehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07299533401041542458noreply@blogger.com
